Carlisle Ladye

(part eight of eight – lyrics (c) Loreena McKinnett)

Now all ye lovers, that faithful prove,
The sun shines fair on Carlisle wall
Pray for their souls who died for love
For Love shall still be lord of all.

Joined in life, they were joined yet again in death. Lord Mithon buried Sir Arren next to lady Sarabrandae where they could grace the land forever. As the priest spoke prayers over their graves for the last time, lord Mithos knew his daughter would be dancing with joy at seeing Sir Arren once again. They would live forever in heaven above and lord Mithos waited for the day he could join them. Them and his own dear wife, lady Elislae Mithon.

The sun set that day on the house of Mithon as its last lord let his heart grow faint and fade away.
